3-4 medium sized fresh vine-ripened tomatoes

1/3 white sweet onion

jalapenos to taste

3 tablespoons lime juice

1/3 cup chopped cilantro (or to taste)

salt and pepper to taste

oregano and cumin are optional, to taste

Remove the stems and finely chop up the tomatoes. Place these in a medium sized bowl. Dice up the onion and combine with the tomatoes in the bowl. Chop up the jalapenos and combine. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

Let it sit and marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour or so before serving. This makes approximately 3-4 cups of salsa. Serve with tortilla chips!
