Lorraine’s Wassel Recipe

This makes alot of tea. For some occasions, you may want to cut this recipe in half.

2 and 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups of orange juice
1/2 gallon cranberry juice
1 cup frozen lemonade (1 small can)
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp nutmeg
48 teabags
cheesecloth

Tie spice and tea in bag (cheesecloth).
Put 10 cups of water in pot and bring to a boil. Add spice/tea bag. Take off burner and steep for 20 minutes with lid on. Remove bag and squeeze into the pan.
Add sugar (start with 2 cups). Add orange juice, cranberry, and frozen lemonade.
Add 3 more cups of hot water (and up to 3 more, if necessary).

Keeps for a month.
